5th Week of Lent: "Knowing" and "Believing" are two totally different approaches to how we own the resurrection of Jesus Christ in our life of faith. "Knowing" means we are invested in the story, "believing" means we are all in, when it comes to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Fourth week of Lent: Ordinary water is good to drink when you're thirsty. But living water is for our thirsty hearts.
Third week of Lent St. Augustine defining hope: "Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are."
Thank you to all who came and supported our fundraiser last night at The Red Barn! We were able to raise over $2500 for the Hall Dale Elementary School Food Pantry!

First Sunday in Lent Temptation comes in many forms. Here are just a few: First is the compulsion to be successful. Second is the compulsion to always be right. Third is the compulsion to be powerful, to believe that we actually have everything under control.
Transfiguration Sunday!! But what if the point is not to decode the cloud but to enter into it? What if the whole Bible is less a book of certainties than it is a book of encounters, in which a staggeringly long parade of people run into God, each other, life -- and are never the same again?
Thank you to all who came to our Craft and Vendor Fair today!!

We may have been small in numbers today, but big blessings were placed on animals here and gone! We even were able to witness a puppy possibly finding his forever home! ❤❤ "All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them all."
"Let the circle be wide 'round the Table, And we'll soon make room for you; Let your heart have no fear, There are no strangers here, Just friends that you never knew." Happy World Communion Sunday!

What an awesome Bucket Brigade we had today filling the 14 Flood Buckets!!! Thank you to all those who helped, one way or another!! Many hands made light work! We found a need and filled it! Keep posted for our next service project! :-)
Come join the Bucket Brigade!! This Sunday after church (around 11:15) we will be assembling these Flood Buckets to be sent to help people around the country!! We will fill the buckets with items like work gloves, trash bags, rope, scrubbers, laundry detergent, dust masks, and more!! Then we send the filled buckets to UMCOR (United Methodists Committee On Relief) who then distributes them to clean up crews around the country after natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. The buckets are a HUGE help! Thank you to all those who have helped with donations of time, money and supplies to be able to fill 14 buckets!!! Wow!!
